Started in 1993, Cloudburstz Studio operated in Fitzroy close to the center of Melbourne for 7 years. We have worked on a wide range of music styles ranging across Rock, Acoustic, latin, folk & others. The original Cloudburstz concept continues now at our new 20 acre site in Sandon, Central Victoria , just north of Daylesford.

Cloudburstz also welcomes experienced freelance engineers familiar with Pro Tools.

• Outboard in the rack includes Lexicon PCM 80, aphex Compression & Valve Mic Pre's.
• Multi FX etc by Alesis , Zoom
• Comprehensive TDM Plug-ins running in ProTools.
• Submixing via Mackie VLZ1402 desk
• MIDI capability via Roland JV1010, Korg M1 & Koblo Soft Synths via ProTools.
• The Usual standard of Cloudburstz Coffee, essential for quality audio.
• The ultimate Bush retreat in which to get on with your music.

The studio features an independent Control Room & 2 separate tracking rooms.
It is a fully self contained building on our 20 acre property including kitchen & bathroom/shower.( see photo below ) Artists from further afield can choose to stay in the separate and very comfortable cottage. This is an excellent way to retreat from the city into your next project.

Cloudburstz is owned & operated by Bruce Jacques who managed the Audio Production Course at RMIT University in Melbourne from 2000 to 2004. The Sound Production Course is highly respected for education that is provided by a team of audio engineers who are active & current professionals ( & really nice people!!)
